Case study – The Pageant Expo
The client: The Pageant Expo
The project: Bespoke WordPress website design and build.
Background
The Pageant Expo had previously been working with another agency on a new website, but after several months the project was still unfinished and left in a broken state!
With ticket sales approaching, Made by Khan was brought in to start again and deliver a finished website ready for launch.
Our approach
We designed and built a new WordPress website from the ground up, working closely with The Pageant Expo to create a bespoke design that felt properly on brand, unapologetically pink and easy to use. The layouts, styling and user experience were all built around the Expo.
The site was planned around the information visitors were most likely to be looking for, with clear sections for tickets, speakers, workshops, exhibitors and other event information.
The website was also designed to work properly across desktop, tablet and mobile, with custom layouts for different screen sizes and a shortcut bar built specifically for mobile users.
The finished website included:
- Bespoke WordPress theme
- Responsive desktop, tablet and mobile layouts
- Dedicated ticket pages
- Speaker and workshop sections
- Exhibitor information
- Custom mobile shortcut navigation
- Performance optimisation
The outcome
The new website was completed and ready ahead of the Expo’s ticket launch.
The Pageant Expo now has a website that is easier to manage, easier for visitors to use and gives the team a solid base to promote future events.
Aakash’s work is second to none. He not only creates incredible websites that are effective and really easy to navigate, but he also has a great vision and has captured our brand seamlessly.
Working with MadeByKhan has been a pleasure, and I now have someone I can go to and trust whenever I need anything created in the future.
